how do I uninstall extension

OS: Debian / Ubuntu

I modified an extension, repackaged it and loaded it - but apparently it has problems in it. Now, none of the menus in komodo edit work. How do I uninstall or disable the extension so that komodo edit works again?

You'll need to manually remove the extension files from your Komodo profile directory:

The extensions directory at: <host-HOSTNAME>/XRE/extensions in your profile. Shutdown Komodo, remove the directory there that corresponds with the extension you wish to remove and then restart Komodo.
